Something most of us want and need to do, exercise. One of our biggest obstacles is finding the time. Whether you are a stay at home mom, or a career person, there are ways to fit in exercising, without having to take up a lot of time out of your already busy day.You don't need to join a gym or buy expensive gym equipment. You do need to decide what form of exercise best suites you and your schedule. It could range from walking, using weights, toning/Pilate exercise videos, or all of the above.
You can purchase hand weights and videos at very reasonable prices. Maybe pickup an issue, or even subscribe, to Fitness Magazine. Every issue is filled with different exercises you can do at home.Start your day off with a workout. Wake up 45 minutes to an hour earlier then you normally do, to fit in some exercising. You're having a lengthy phone conversation; why not do some stand up leg exercises, or arm curls.
While watching your favorite TV show or the news, get on the floor and do some abs or leg exercises. The kids are sitting down for breakfast or lunch, pop in one of your exercise videos, do as much of it as you can. Some is better then none. My exercise videos are broken down into 10 to 15 minute sessions of abs, butt and thighs. You can do one session one day along with hand weights, and another session another day.
Determination, motivation and creativity take you a long way. Treat yourself to looking and feeling good, exercise today!.

Increase Your Training Intensity - Pre-Exhaustion
You can only build muscle tissue if you can generate progressively stronger muscular contractions, so this calls for an emphasis on finding ways to increase exercise intensity. This should not be confused with exercise duration as maximum training intensity will actually shorten the time needed to achieve maximal muscular growth. In an earlier article I outlined the ways in which you can intensify your training. Here we'll focus on the role that pre-exhaustion has to play in intensifying the training effect. When an exercise employs two or more muscles it will be impossible to achieve failure for the primary muscle as the weakest muscle will give out first. This is perhaps best explained by giving an example. When targeting the chest, most exercises involve use of the triceps which is a relatively small and weak muscle.
When performing the incline bench press for example, the triceps will fail before the pectorals have the opportunity to work to failure thus limiting the value of...

Are You Exercising? Why Not!
Copyright 2006 Dennis Watson
Exercising is one of those events that you know you should do but don't always want to. At least that's how I feel until I get on a routine. After about a month or so of continuous planned exercising a strange thing happens...I get addicted. This article will give you a few pointers on things to do and not do and the benefits of exercising.
Do(s) and Don't(s):
Unless you are participating in very strenuous exercise, like long bike rides, that lasts over 90 minutes, you don't need to drink "sports drinks." Stick with water (no sugar, no calories) your body will thank you.
It is a good idea take a friend to exercise class with you. You are much more apt to stick with your program if you recruit a partner.
There is nothing better than a little peer pressure to keep you motivated.
To prevent injury, stretch at least the following four areas after every exercise session: the calves, the hamstrings,...
Exercise Fun
Do you consider exercise fun?
Everyone wants to be fit and look good but what separates those that stick with it from the ones who call it quits within a month?
If you think of exercise as fun or an enjoyable experience you are more likely to make a commitment to make exercise a habit.
People who exercise regularly also know the health benefits of being fit and that becomes a big motivating factor.Exercise is what you perceive it to be and if you think of it as boring and a chore you won't stick with it.
But if you consider exercise fun, you can come up with lots of creative ways to make it something you look forward to each day and it will become a habit.
Here are some things to consider to help get you started:1.
Choose activities you enjoy.
(example: swimming, walking, dancing
or aerobics classes)2.
Exercise with a friend, it is always more fun to have an exercise buddy.3.
Vary the activities....

Levis for all your needs
"Waist overalls" was the original name for what we now refer to as Levi? 501? jeans. We can thank Levi Strauss and Jacob Davis for using a bit of denim, thread and some metal to create the most popular jeans worn around the world today. The original denim pants were always considered to be work pants, but during the 1960's in America, jeans became the favorite type of pants worn by everyone. This changed the way in which people looked at denim, looked at jeans, and looked at Levis, in particular....
